Neeme Raud is a broadcasting and newspaper journalist who has worked and lived in Estonia, Canada, the US, and Russia. For over 13 years, he worked as a correspondent of the radio Voice of America in Washington DC and New York City.  Afterwards, for 7 years, he was a correspondent of Estonian Public Broadcasting in New York, covering the US, Canada, and Mexico, and for a year and half a TV and radio correspondent for Estonian Public Broadcasting in Moscow. For a year, he anchored the Evening News at the Estonian TV. He has reported and written extensively on international politics, but also on economy and culture. He has authored and hosted TV programs on science, technology and diplomacy for the Estonian TV. As a freelance correspondent since January 2017, he has traveled and reported from Africa, the US, Europe and Russia. Mr. Raud holds a BA from New York University in Communications (Summa Cum Laude) and MIA from Columbia University in International Affairs. He resides in Tallinn, Estonia.
